Zolm Vortex
Dashboards
Dashboards are the first thing you see when you log in to Zolm Vortex. They provide you with a snapshot of the information
relevant to you. You can completely customize dashboards by adding, editing, and deleting widgets. You can even share dashboards
with other users in your organization.
Data Table List View
One of the most intuitive and useful ways of viewing data is by simple seeing a table with useful columns. You can sort and
add extra filters to narrow down what records are displayed. You can even set up rules to color code records that meet a particular
set of conditions.
Calendar View
Any data table that has dates and times can be configured to view as a calendar. Simply select the fields to use for the start date,
end date, and summary. Everything else is handled automatically.
Data Table Designer - Fields
The data table designer provides features for making it easier to add fields to a data table. You can add new fields by filling out a
small form, or use the drag and drop interface to re-order existing fields. You can also edit, rename, and change other properties of
existing fields.
Data Table Designer - Views
Views are one of the core elements of Zolm Vortex - they are how you can actually see your data in an intuitive way. An unlimited
amount of views can be configured for each data table. Views can be lists of everything in the table, calendars, bar charts, pie charts,
and more.
Report Designer
Reports are basically a set of specialized data views that are all linked together. The report designer is an interface for accomplishing
that and creating these report sections. Using the report designer, users can update these report sections and even reposition them with
drag and drop functionality.
Record History
Data integrity is a critical element of any database software. Zolm Vortex includes built-in features for automatically tracking when data
changes, who changed it, and what it used to be. The record history tab shows all of this information and also has a textbox for adding
additional comments.
